Like a book store

There are phones people use for calls only and there are phones people use like everything they need right here and right now. Those functions phones are provided with depend on the owner of this phone. This is about those people who like reading most of all and they need a book everywhere. But, they have things to do and they have no time for reading as a rule and that is why you see a lot of those who read their books when in subway or buss or something. And the cellar phone gives us a great chance to have our favorite book with us no matter where we are going. You can keep the e-books in your phone and you can read those why travelling somewhere or while waiting for other people to come. You can keep a number of books in your cellar phone and it is like your phone turns into a book store. Some people say that such a reading is not very convenient but those who really like reading never care about this peculiarity of e-books and they are grateful for the chance to have all there favorite books in one phone.

Those times are gone when everything people wanted and could get from a phone is incoming and outcoming calls. Today a self phone is a thing of a number of function and all those seems to be of the same importance. Actually, those functions people have thanks to their self phones depend on a person who is the owner of a phone. That is why they usually choose phones that are the best phones to be used as walkmans. They care about music much and this is the main function they need. So, the cellar phones of nowadays contains a lot and those are not just phones but something people use for everything. That is what the cellar phones today and it is like the part of our lives now.

Wonder Gizmo – Mobile Phone

If there is anything that has undergone maximum changes in the past two decades, it is the Mobile Phone. The technology is so advanced that the smallest mobile phone is 3mm thin and 11mm long. It is truly amazing to see all the features that one needs, be it a music player, memory to hold documents, an internet browser, digital camera, GPS navigation and many more packed in this gizmo. With so many manufacturers, carriers and service providers it is really hard to classify these mobile phones. Here is an effort to do the same.

Entry Level Phones: These are the mobile phones which contain exactly what is expected out of a cell phone. Basic texting, voice mails and an address book would be the entire list of features.  These were the first ones to come into the market in the early 90’s. Now they are almost extinct.

Middle tier mobiles: These are the ones which added value to the entry level phones with some extra features.  Addition of an FM radio, camera, recorder, music player, basic HTML browser, files manager, etc. They are affordable by all but very few available.

High End Mobile Phones: They are the most popular segment now. These phones enhance the additional features like adding a flash to the camera, music players with high bass and other settings, advanced web browsers, so on.  Based on the features, the price varies a lot.

PDA/Handheld: They are the most advanced mobile phones. They are more like mini computers stuffed into this small size. The hardware configuration is exactly like that of a computer, running on your favorite OS (OS X, Linux, and Symbian). You can access your e-mail, browse web, and take pictures, share files and so many more. Priced at a very high rate, it is mostly targeted towards the corporate users and the tech savvy folks.

So, pick your category and be a part of this community, if you are not already!.

Nasty Ringing

It is interesting the way we respond to the ringing of phones. When a phone rings we feel immediately compelled to stop what we are doing to answer it. Why? The phones we have, all of them, are supposed to be there for our own convenience rather than the convenience of someone else. The generation that grew up without an individual cell phone or caller ID has a harder time of letting the phones ring unanswered. We were groomed on professional cell phone etiquette and we honed into our home phones with proper and polite answering techniques. As a result we have grown up with the impression that we are supposed to run at ring of the telephone rather than determine whether we even have time to deal with someone else’s need or want.

Phones are now able to tell us who is calling, and text messages allow our phones to interpret often what they might want when they call us. It is not necessary to jump to the phone’s ringing any longer. While it might be a truly ingrained habit, there are many of us who are slowly learning how to simply turn off our phones, ignore their ringing, and silence them in exchange for our own time and our own needs. It is better to give someone the attention they need when we are not bogged down by some visceral response to the phone’s demand. When we can give of our time freely we become more adept people at listening on the other end of the phone.
